Advisory Board

The New York Institute of Management has brought together a distinguished group of academics to serve on its Advisory Board. The NYIM Advisory Board is the driving force behind the strategic dimension of the New York Institute of Management and acts as a visible body of leadership, influence and support with the external constituencies NYIM serves.

Timothy Baldwin

Timothy Baldwin

Professor Baldwin is the Eveleigh Professor of Business Leadership and Subhedar Faculty Fellow at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He is the co-author of two books: Developing Management Skills: What Great Managers Know and Do, and Improving Learning Transfer In Organizations. Professor Baldwin holds a PhD and MBA from Michigan State University.


Gregory P. Prastacos

Professor Prastacos is the Dean of the Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. Before joining Stevens, he was Rector at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and the founding Director of AUEB’s MBA International Program, which is internationally ranked among the top MBA programs worldwide. Prior to joining AUEB, he taught at Columbia University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dean Prastacos holds a Ph.D., M.Sc. and a B.Sc. from Columbia University.


Edward Rogoff

Professor Rogoff is the Dean of the LIU Brooklyn School of Business, Public Administration and Information Sciences. Before joining LIU, Professor Rogoff was the Chairman of the Department of Management of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and the Academic Director, Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship and. Ed holds a PhD, MBA and MA from Columbia University.


John Donaldson

Professor Donaldson is the Mario J. Gabelli Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School. He is also the Faculty Director of the Doctoral Program at Columbia Business School. Professor Donaldson holds a PhD and MS from Carnegie-Mellon University.


Michael Tsiros

Professor Tsiros is the Chairman of the Department of Marketing and Professor of Marketing at University of Miami. He was awarded the “2010 William R. Davidson award for best paper published in the Journal of Retailing”. Professor Tsiros holds a PhD from Temple University and an MBA from St Johns University.


Robert Marx

Professor Marx is a Professor of Management at the Issenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is affiliated with and teaches regularly in several outstanding international graduate programs and is the co-author of “The Virtuous Organization: Insights from Some of the World’s Leading Management Thinkers”, “The Wisdom of Solomon at Work: Ancient Virtues for Living and Leading Today”. Professor Marx holds a PhD from the University of Illinois.
